At  Motel Wellington Wodonga, we strive to offer a seamless experience for our guests. However, we understand that circumstances may require changes to your travel plans. To ensure a transparent process, please familiarize yourself with our cancellation policy outlined below:

1. Cancellation Notice Period:

  • Guests are required to cancel their reservation at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date. This means that you must notify us of your cancellation at least 48 hours before the check-in time on your reservation day.

2. How to Cancel:

  • To cancel your reservation, please contact us via phone at +61 2 6024 2400 or email at bookings@motelw.com.au. It is essential to receive a cancellation confirmation from us to ensure the proper processing of your request.

3. Cancellation Charges:

  • Cancellations made within the 48-hour notice period will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the cost of one night's stay.
  • In the event of a no-show without any prior cancellation notice, guests will be charged for the entire duration of the stay as originally booked.

4. Non-Refundable Policy:

  • Regardless of the timing of the cancellation, please note that the cancellation fee is non-refundable.

5. Early Departures:

  • If you decide to depart earlier than your scheduled departure date, kindly inform our front desk staff at your earliest convenience. Early departures will be treated as cancellations, and no refunds will be provided for the unused portion of the stay.

6. Exceptions:

  • Motel Wellington Wodonga may, at its discretion, consider waiving cancellation fees in exceptional circumstances. Decisions are made on a case-by-case basis and require management approval.

7. Third-Party Bookings:

  • If your reservation was made through a third-party service or travel agent, please contact them directly for assistance with your cancellation. Terms of cancellation may vary based on their policies.

Motel Wellington Wodonga Guest Agreement

 

This Guest Agreement ("Agreement") outlines the terms and conditions between Motel Wellington Wodonga ("Motel") and the guest(s) ("Guest"). By booking a stay at the Motel, the Guest acknowledges and agrees to comply with the specified terms during their stay.

  1. Check-In/Check-Out: Check-In Time: From 2:00 PM Check-Out Time: By 10:00 AM
  2. Damage Deposit: A $100 damage deposit will be charged to your credit card at check-in. Refunded on check-out day if no damage or theft of motel property occurs.
  3. Credit Card Authorization: Required upon booking confirmation for potential cancellations or room damages.
  4. Force Majeure: In case of unforeseen events making the property unavailable, alternative accommodation will be sought or a full refund provided.
  5. Payment Policy: Payment due at the end of the free cancellation period.
  6. Cancellation Policy: Standard Bookings: Cancellation within 48 hours of check-in incurs a fee of the first night's room rate. Non-Refundable Bookings: Full amount charged, non-refundable. No changes or refunds once checked in.
  7. Linen: Provided and must be left in rooms on departure.
  8. Pets and Service Animals: Pets not allowed, $275 fee for violations. Service animals allowed with prior proof to Management.
  9. Guest Responsibilities: Liable for any property damage, breakages, theft, or loss. Noise curfew between 9:30 PM and 7:30 AM. Disturbance to neighbors, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination and eviction without a refund. Property to be vacated on time and secured.
  10. Smoking: Only in designated areas; $250 charge for violations.
  11. Problems or Complaints: Report immediately to Management.
  12. Travel Insurance: Recommended for guests.

EV Policy

 

Effective Date: 1st December 2023

1. Purpose

Motel Wellington Wodonga, located at 46-48 High Street Wodonga VIC 3690, is dedicated to supporting the needs of our guests who travel with electric vehicles (EVs). This policy outlines the use of the motel's standard power points for EV charging, emphasizing safety and accessibility.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all guests of Motel Wellington Wodonga who wish to use the motel's standard power points for charging their electric vehicles.

3. Charging Facility Access

3.1 Pre-Arrangement Requirement: Guests must arrange the use of power points for EV charging with motel management prior to their arrival, via phone, email, or our online booking system.

3.2 Availability: Access to power points is subject to availability and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

4. Cost

4.1 Charging Fee: A fee of $50 per day per vehicle is charged for the use of power points for EV charging.

4.2 Billing: This fee will be added to the guest’s motel bill and must be settled upon arrival.

5. Equipment and Safety

5.1 Guest’s Responsibility: Guests must provide their own charging cable, ensuring it is compatible and in good working condition.

5.2 Cable Placement: All cables must be safely placed to avoid creating a trip hazard or obstructing walkways, in accordance with safety guidelines provided by the motel.

5.3 Hotel’s Limitation: Motel Wellington Wodonga provides standard power points only and does not offer specialized EV charging equipment.

6. Usage Limitations

6.1 Time Limit: Vehicles must be unplugged and removed from the power point after a maximum of 12 hours of charging, or once fully charged, whichever occurs first.

6.2 Responsibility: Motel Wellington Wodonga is not responsible for any damage to vehicles or personal property during the charging process.

7. Alternative Charging Locations

For guests requiring dedicated EV charging facilities, the following public EV charging locations are near Wodonga, Victoria:

    • Distance: Approximately 1km from the motel
  • 7.2 Tesla Supercharger
    • Location:13 Havelock St Wodonga VIC 3690
    • Distance: Approximately 1km from the motel

8. Policy Compliance

Guests using the power points for EV charging at Motel Wellington Wodonga are expected to comply with this policy. Non-compliance may lead to the revocation of charging privileges.

9. Amendments

This policy may be amended at any time by the management of Motel Wellington Wodonga.
